Don’t you just love it when the doorbell rings unexpectedly …
… and you find a friend with a big bag …
… full of fabricy goodness …
… which she says is a gift, just for you …
… yes, good huh!
Well, last week, that happened for me not once, but twice … I know!
I am mightily blessed for sure! And very appreciative.
One of the bags contained a mountain of samples from the Designers Guild ~ these are high quality offcuts, linens, embroidered silks, damasks, canvas weaves, rich colours and beautiful textures ~ small squares of loveliness, I feel some patchwork cushion covers coming on!
The other bag contained some larger cotton and polycotton offcuts, in a range of patterns, perfect for cushions, bags and all sorts of goodies!
Two unexpected and generous gifts ~ one persons rubbish is definately another persons treasure ~ and I am feeling very lucky indeed!
