Meet my Dad. He is 81 today, and he walks really slowly … really, really slowly …
… which means I walk really slowly beside him. Which gives me lots of time to notice the details, to hear the birdsong, to soak up the beauty …
… and today it was beautiful, not in a stunning ~ take your breath away ~ kind of way, but in a subtler, peaceful, dappled sunlight kind of a way.
