To say we were blessed with the weather is an understatement ~ I have never seen so many sunburnt people in March ~ this is March in England folks! It doesn’t get much better than this …

… I’ll let the pictures do the talking!

We stayed near Mullion on the Lizard, near the southern most tip of England, it is a mighty beautiful corner of the world indeed.

And there are more pictures to come, I’ll be adding part two in a day or so, so stay tuned :)

Absolutely gorgeous pictures Hilary! The sea and sky are so BLUE! Didn’t you once work on an island off the very tip of England? I loved the pic of the rocky cove. I bet you had some lovely walks while there!

Yes, I once worked on an island called Tresco, the Isles of Scilly, about 22 miles off the tip of Cornwall, cleaning holiday cottages for a summer season. A long time ago now, but the memories still feel fresh!

There’s a special place in my heart for Cornwall.
It’s where my Mum was born and I remember several happy caravan holidays there from my childhood.
    Thanks so much.

Thank you for sharing – Cornwall is always beautiful. I swear the sky is a unique colour in St Ives. Where was that church? it looks very familiar…
